Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oh, Missy. The rescue favorite. She’s one year old now and has been with us since August. Missy is very human-oriented. She’s not timid whatsoever and loves human attention and cuddles. She’s relaxed and happiest on a lap. Also a zoomie queen. She is, however, VERY picky about her pigmates, and we want to set her up for success. We are willing to introduce her to one or two other females (we can schedule a meet and greet), but if she still can’t find a match she will be up for adoption as a singlepig for an ideal family prepared to give her all the attention she deserves.
We do require minimum cage sizes for pairs of guinea pigs to ensure lasting bonds. You’ll also notice happier and healthier guinea pigs when they have room to run and play. A 2x4 c&c cage, Midwest guinea pig habitat or equivalent space (10 square feet recommended) is appropriate for most pairs of females, but we will recommend at least a 2X5 c&c cage for Missy to live with a cagemate. She has had two “falling outs” with other guinea pigs due to her territorial nature already so know adequate room is essential for this girl.
