Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Darla is a one-year-old female Beagle. She needs attention, affection, and training. She's mesmerized by the animals and the people in the neighborhood, loves to play, and has boundless energy.
Darla does fine in crates, and loves to run around outside. She's a chewer, so I make sure to keep plenty of bones and hard-rubber chew toys in the house for her.
While house-broken and crate trained, I've not had the time to train her some of the basics, like sitting, staying, and not jumping. As such, she's going to require a bit of puppy training.
She spent the first few months with an aging female Labrador on some land where they both could run around and play. She got along quite well with the lab, but she was a puppy trying to play and the lab was neither. She did go after the barn cats a few times, but I haven't seen her around any house-cats.
