Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Do you like to hike and enjoy spending time outdoors? Looking for an adventure buddy to keep you company? Look no further….Juliet is your girl! This 46 lb. beauty would love to join her hooman/s anywhere they go and has the stamina to keep up! The best thing of all is that not only can she join you on your adventures, but she is such a well-balanced girl that she is also down for staying in for cuddles on a lazy day! This loyal girls loves to be where her people are, doing whatever they want to do.
Juliet is estimated to be approximately 2-3 years old and possibly a mix of a German Shepherd and a Pittie—beauty and brains! She is crate trained and will do just fine in a crate, but she does love company and prefers to be where she can see her hoomans. When she gets a little excited or nervous, she does the most adorable little lip quiver to let you know that she needs some lovin’s. She is way past her puppy years, and has potty training in the bag! No accidents with this girl—show her the way and she will do her business outside. She walks well on a leash, but does like to stop and smell the roses, and the grass, and all of the amazing smells that peak her canine senses. If something catches her attention, she will be sure to let you know by gently pulling in that direction. She is VERY SMART and responds to commands and redirection easily. A simple tug and “this way” or “leave it” will get her attention back to you and onto the task at hand.
She is good with other dogs and is currently fostered with multiple dogs of all ages and sizes, her favorite being a puppy that she has taken under her wing and is incredibly tolerant with. She is non-reactive but will correct a dog if she feels challenged. She can share food, water and toys with other dogs without any problems. She does get a little shy around men. She is fostered in a home with both male and female fosters and has been around people of both genders- most importantly just needs to know that she is safe and can trust those around her……which doesn’t take much time at all! She loves to love, and loves to be loved! Pets and belly rubs are her favorite!
Doesn’t she sound absolutely amazing! She will make the best addition to any home and bring so much fun and new memories for many years to come!! To bring Juliet home, please inquire at savesomesoulsrescue@gmail.com or send an application to savesomesouls.com
