Here's what the humans have to say about me:
It's true that black dogs always get overlooked. Otherwise, how did Knox get on the euthanasia list at the shelter where he was abandoned by his previous owners when they moved out of state.
He is such a sweet young labrador, who likes to go for walks, and LOVES to fetch. That's really the one thing he begs his foster mom for before they leave for work and return.
That's right. He also goes to work with her and lays quietly at her feet. She says he is very obedient and calm. There you can see in the picture when he is laying on his mat at her work.
Sadly, her other dog does not like to share the attention, or she would have adopted him.
We are looking for a home for Knox where he is loved, and he can play fetch or go for a walk everyday.
It will be nice to see this boy get a home to call his own. He can also be a great guard dog, as he barks whenever someone comes near his foster mom's property, and alerts everyone.
Knox loves to cuddle, and show how much he loves his parents and how grateful he is.
His only fear is that he has to roll on his side. But, he is being rewarded for that, so soon he will realize humans are kind too and he can trust his new family if they ask him to roll on his side. If only dogs could talk!
