Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Johnny is 11 yrs. old & weighs 6.2 lbs. He looks like a puppy. He was 10 and had not been neutered before. He was neutered & then adopted from Animal Control/Verona St. 1.5 yrs. ago. I have moved to an apt. where I am only allowed one dog and I have two. John is very sweet. He is up-to-date on shots & exams. Although he is housebroken, he has one drawback - he has a tendency to lift his leg on objects in the house. I put a "belly band" on him in the house to deter this behavior. (This is washable and there are also disposable diapers available at the pet stores.) I recently had him checked for a Urinary Tract Infection but he does not have one.
He is very well behaved otherwise. He can go outside with you w/o a leash; obeys commands. My guess is he was used in a breeding situation and may have been able to go where he was being kept and then when he got "older", he ended up as a supposed "Stray" at Verona Street.
