My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sasha will love you, like no one else has ever loved you. She gets attached so quickly to humans who show a little affection. She is so smart that she knows how to open doors, crates, and will come to check on your every now and then, whether you need it or not. Every foster who had Sasha fell in love with her, because she loves so much.
Sasha is a 9 months old puppy, and was rescued at the age of 5 months when she was taken to the kill shelter. She had either failed as a guard dog or escaped. She cowers when you raise your hand and she becomes submissive when you yell. She has no intention to harm anyone, but she is protective of her people, just like German Shepherds are.
She is the most beautiful and loving puppy you will ever meet and she is incredibly smart. She learns so fast and she will be your protector and best friend. We want the home where she is loved a lot and kept safe.
But she has severe separation anxiety. She cannot be left by herself until she knows the routine. She is still a pup.
Sasha is not at all aggressive with other pets but she will bark until she knows them. The trainer said this is due to her being a stray as a very young pup when she was either dumped or escaped, that she needs to fend for herself.
She gets along great with her foster's four german shepherds but we rather have her go to a single dog family so Sasha doesn't have to compete for attention.

Please send an application for Sasha from our site at www.savesomesouls.org if you have no other pet, and have raised German Shepherds before.
