My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ophelia is a delightful example of Italian Greyhound refinement. This fawn and white beauty is a complete picture of awesomeness. Her regality just oozes from her pores and rolls off her nose, held high of course. But blink your eyes and she snuggles with you in her first introduction and never looks back except to climb back into your lap for another set of cold nose touches to your face. She is easy, sweet, and loving. She is NOT cat friendly and only puts up with other dogs her size. She resents the competition of larger dogs. She is certain of her place!

Ophelia is still learning commands and has bad manners when it comes to the kitchen table. She will steal your food from your hand if you let her. She doesn't seem to like toys right now. Most likely, playing with toys was discouraged in her previous home. She came from a home with very small children and she probably learned her odd habits in that environment. She is extremely intelligent and can learn good habits as easily as bad ones!
