MEET Nash -
Nash is a handsome 5 year old, short hair, 8 lb. brindle doxie/chihuahua mix. He is 75% Dachshund and 25% chiweenie. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He will do best in a home without small children, but does get along with other dogs & cats. Nash can be possessive of people food and if you try to take a toy away from him. He travels well in the car, knows basic commands, and is leash & potty trained. He has some anxiety so he should be in a home where someone is at home often (i.e. stay at home/work from home/retired). Nash loves people and cuddling under blankies on the couch. He is healthy happy and ready for adoption! If you can give Nash a loving forever home please contact their current owner directly.

ODR, INC. ADOPTION CRITERIA (aka Our Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria for dogs that we adopt and that we recommend to owners whose doxies we list courtesy posts for, the sole aim of which is to facilitate a successful adoption with a forever family.
*Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time?
*Have a securely fenced yard?
*We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and *Children need to be 12 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie).
*We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc). *Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog.
Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these or similar issues.
