My story

This is a courtesy post for A New Dawn Pet Adoption Center in Deer Park. A New Dawn specializes in adoption of small dogs. Some coward dumped Nala in the small play yard about a year ago, emaciated and scared! Nala is not what I consider to be a Big dog at approx 45 pounds; but, compared to the other dogs there, she IS big. So, since A New Dawn's clientele is shopping for little guys, Nala is kinda out of luck on people looking to give her a forever home. So, we are posting her to a broader market in hopes she will touch someone's heart and they will take her home to be their best new family member!! Here are her stats! Nala is about 2 1/2 years old and is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. Heartworm negative, of course, and receiving regular h/w prevention. She walks well on leash, loves other dogs, and plays great with her toys and big rope. She would love to run free in a back yard, and play fetch with the ball. She has been taught the basic commands, and proved to be very smart! Even if you don't want to adopt at this time, maybe you could give Nala a Foster Home to enjoy while waiting for a forever home? She has been in that small-dog facility way too long, and she would be so grateful to have more room and freedom!
