Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Harry
Born 2/18/19
Great Pyrenees mix
10 lbs
Harry is such an amazing boy. His mom came up from Tennessee while she was pregnant, luckily for him and his siblings they were born in a loving foster home in Illinois. Harry is currently beginning fostered with one of his brothers.
Harry is such a sweet hairy puff ball! He has such a wonderful disposition, he loves to play tug of war with his brother or foster. He will also play alone with his chew toys. He loves to get belly rubs and to cuddle up and just be with you.
Harry is just so adorable with his long soft black fur and white tipped paws. He has such warm and loving eyes photos do him no justice. He just melts your heart every time he looks up at you.😍
Harry is so smart. He does really good in his crate during the night, he will whine once in a while to go to the bathroom but most nights he holds it until the morning. We have already started potty training and he does well. He is in a large pen during the day and will bark when he has to go, I take him to the back door and very rarely will go in his pen. He has shown no food or toy aggression. He loves everyone that he has met whether young or old, and plays well with both small and large dogs and loves playing with the cats.
Because Harry is a puppy, he is looking for a family that has the time, patience and the love that is needed to teach him to be the great loving dog that he will grow up to be.
Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies.
Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a “teen” or adult dog.
Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email safehavendogsIL@yahoo.com for an application or additional details.
Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.
