My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone I’m DOBI, a sweet girl who is about a year old and 22lbs. It seems like I’ve been waiting for my forever home to come along and adopt me and I don't know why. My rescuers think I maybe be a Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund cross but who really knows? All I know is that everyone tells me I'm a sweetie and some family will be lucky to adopt me.

Let me tell you a bit about myself. I love hanging out with my foster mom who takes me on fun hikes. I enjoy chasing my furry friends around and playing fetch. I'm not a big fan of being crated at night, I'd rather sleep snuggled up next to you. It's so cute, I have my favourite blankie that I will bring up with me at bedtime and tuck myself all nice and tight. You don't have to do a thing! When I take my naps, I like bringing my little toys and stuffies and having them all around me while I snooze. My foster mom says it's ridiculously cute when I do that.

I'm also a really good girl and don't get into mischief while you're out. I just play quietly with my toys and snack on my chewies. I'm a little shy when I meet strangers, but I'll quickly warm up with a treat or two. If you're having a party, I'm happy keeping to myself or snoozing away in bed while the party goes on. I also haven't had any accidents in my home and do my business outside.

Here’s what my foster mom says about me:
“Dobi has settled in quite nicely with our family. She loves playing with her fur siblings and going for long walks on the trails. She has great leash manners and never pulls. She loves the water and will run in and out of the creek on our walks. Nothing makes her happier then snuggling with her humans. She’s really good at nudging your hand when she wants you to pet her. She’s been great with the kids and follows them around the house hoping to score treats. She tolerates her crate during the day ok but would be happier if let out. Although she does go in sometimes on her own if she has a treat, (although that’s probably so her fur siblings don’t try and steal it when she isn’t looking). She doesn’t cause any trouble if left out while you're gone. She loves to sleep with her humans as she likes the comfort of having someone close(she swears she doesn’t snore). Dobi says she’s such a sweet girl and she’s patiently waiting for her forever home to get get her.”

I hope that someone sees me and will give me the best home ever!
