Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Well hellllllo there! My name is Hank! My foster momma calls me 'Handsome Boy' on account of me being such a good looker! I'm just shy of a year old (my birthday is June 16, 2018) and I weigh about 60 lbs. I'm nice and lean and have an athletic body! Along with my fantastic physique, I have a great personality! I'm happy and loving and just want to find a family who will give me some attention!
In my free time, I really enjoy playing with my frisbee and I love with my foster family plays fetch with me!!! After hours, I sleep quietly in my crate (I also hang out here when my foster family is at work). I am completely housebroken and get along great with other dogs. I also enjoy spending time with kids.
I walk well on a leash and I really enjoy taking long strolls in the park. I have a lot more to offer you (my foster family thinks so anyways) and I'd love to meet you soon so I can show you how wonderful I am!
Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email safehavendogsIL@yahoo.com for an application or additional details.
Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.
Please consider becoming a foster home while you search for your new best friend. We need foster homes - pounds are overflowing with puppies and adult dogs that are at-risk and need help. We can only rescue as many as we have foster home commitments. Fostering is a rewarding experience for your family.
