Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Penny was zipped into a small canvas bag and then stuffed into a feral cat trap that was on AALOC’s front porch late one cold, winter afternoon. Thankfully she was found by an AALOC staff member coming in for a late shift that night. It’s truly a miracle she didn’t suffocate. How the owner could have left her without any concern is unbelievable.
Penny is a terrier mix and just a joy to be around. Hold me, cuddle me, let’s go for a walk or play with one of my dog friends – she has lots of choices on how she’d like to spend her day. She’s a small dog but not tiny, with long legs, perky ears and a coat that almost defines description: it’s brilliantly white, soft and fluffy.
Although Penny had a tough start to life, she is full of spirit and all she wants is to find a new forever home. If you’re looking for a younger, more active friend and can provide the home she needs, Penny may just be the right dog for you.
We recommend you stop by AALOC during visiting hours to meet Penny before submitting an adoption application.
