Casey

Casey 12.2 lbs 2 years old & will be 3 this year, spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm negative, dewormed, tested negative for giardia, had a dental & polish.

The way these babies such as Casey are thrown away like rubbish on the streets is incomprehensible but yet here we are again with the very sweet Casey’s sad tail to life.

Casey once used to have a family & bed but she ended up abandoned & was found tied up out the front of a church with her harness & leash attached to her, this was plain & clear straight abandonment. Thankfully she was not let there & Casey was then admitted to the death camp of a shelter in Changwon where the capacity is 200 & they are at 400 & of course she was frightened & didn’t understand what was happening to her & like many of the dogs around her. Her time was up unfortunately & she was going to lose her precious life but thankfully before that happened the the angels from the Korean rescue stepped in & saved Casey’s life along with another gorgeous little poodle called Lance.

Both Casey & Lance were rescued by the amazing Korean rescue & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Korean rescue & we are so extremely grateful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank you enough.

Casey was bought back to the USA along with Lance & they both now are US citizens. Straight away we could see Casey was thin & she really needs to put on weight which we are working on & this will take some time.

Casey is a lovely little lady, she is a little shy at first until she knows & trusts you but then once she knows & trusts you she will give you kisses & warms up & wants to take everything in. She likes to be held & given love but does not enjoy being in crates for long periods of time at all, so Casey needs to go to a crate free home otherwise she makes it clear to you she does not want to be in one.

Casey is thin & now gets to eat all the food & treats her little heart desires & does not have to worry about not being fed again. Casey is very social & would do best in a home with people home during the day & not to be left alone for long periods of time so it’s mandatory someone be home for her. She does good with other dogs & will need continued work learning to walk on a harness & leash. Yet again we can’t imagine she had toys previously so having toys, a warm bed, a loving home & not to have to worry about where her food is coming from is all new to Casey. Also Casey really does enjoy a great outfit.

Casey has been around many breeds of dogs & she is currently fostered with foster siblings so she must go to a forever home with other dogs present in the home who are playful & love to play & snuggle.

Casey is a poodle & she is roughly 12.2 lbs & 2 years old & will be 3 years this year. Casey needs to put on weight & her wonderful foster family are working on putting weight on this sweetheart, she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her shots, heart worm negative & dewormed & tested negative for giardia. Unfortunately we have spent more funds on medical, transport etc that even covers this sweet girls adoption fee but she is so worth it.

Casey has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not had him around small children so we do not recommend small children & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children.

We do not know for sure what breed Casey is mixed with & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is.

As with all of our rescues & Casey’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not say you will take a dog to training if you will not. Please do not email us asking is Casey potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond.

We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying & tick the yes box.

Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Casey & going through the process and have read his listing fully to the end & are interested in adopting. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Casey who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this adorable little lady.

Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately.

Casey has an adoption fee of $795 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through & not to be thrown away or abandoned like rubbish again.
