IDGSR WELCOMES ANNIE INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Annie is 3 almost 4 years old and came to us as an owner surrender. Her previous owner was in declining health and could no longer care for her. Annie had been hit by a truck in the past and as a result, her tail is amputated and her hip has a plate in it. She is fully recovered from that and healthy. Annie needs an owner who will be a leader. She became protective of her prior owner and home when their living circumstances changed. She was good with a 10 yr. old girl in the home so she would be good with older children. Annie has met several dogs and can be a little unsure at first but then warned up to them. She is CAT FRIENDLY. Annie knows basic commands. She’s very smart and she can open some doors. She would do better with leash walking. She bonds quickly with people and a couple with prior GSD experience may be the best home for Annie.

Each dog's adoption fee varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (PUPPY)
$250 for any dog 1-6 years (YOUNG & ADULT)
$200 for any dog 7 years (ADULT SENIOR)
All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
