My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ELOISE is a beautiful little cat who could use a little help getting through all the upheavals in her life. She was originally adopted from the shelter in 2015. In the intervening years, she was passed around among family members, and eventually back to her original adopters. Then earlier this year she was dropped off at our vets, was fostered for a few months, had dental work, and then returned to MHS. None of this merry-go-round is conducive to a cat’s feelings of stability.

Poor Eloise seems bewildered, wondering what happened to her home(s). She is not happy with all these strangers and can be a little feisty. She meows to be sure she gets the attention she deserves. She allows us to pat her but she sets the limits. Any more familiarity can provoke a hiss and a swipe. She has a good supply of “calico cattitude”. Perhaps this will diminish as she starts to feel more secure, and her friendly personality will emerge.

Eloise is a beautiful dilute calico tiger, mostly white with patches of soft orange and brown containing tiger stripes. Just look at that sweet little face! She is about nine years old. She deserves a new, stable, forever home where she can feel loved and cherished again. She may prefer to be an only cat, the undisputed queen of her realm. If you have room in your heart and your home for the lovely little kitty, come and visit her. She is waiting to meet you!
