My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello. My name is Nero. I weigh approx. 75lbs and am approx 3 years of age. I arrived here some time ago and my foster mom has been working with me. I am a great dog but true to my breed. I have a protective instinct for my family and myself. I need someone who will be the alpha and is familiar with my breed. That all being said I do like to play and I am gentle about it.
I crave interaction with my human. I will not do well if I do not have daily interaction with my people. Walking and play time. I could be a good candidate for canine sports. I do not like other large male dogs, though I could possibly be OK with small males.

Fosters notes: Strong experience in breed, needed. Follow up with trainer will benefit everyone and HIGHLY recommended. An experienced person should know how to handle him. Bonding will take time and work but worth it in the end game. He needs a very active life, with plenty of exercise! Small children are not recommended. He does well with cats, but would probably be best to live without as sometimes he pests them to play. Nero is wonderful and well housebroken. He does crate, loves car rides. Nero can & will use his strong protective mode that has to be handled by his human.
