Hailey is Adopted
Hailey is currently fostered in Pittsburgh PA, and her adoption fee/donation is $250
Hailey is a 5 yr old female cocker spaniel.
She came to us from a puppymill, so she is on the skiddish side, and will require a fenced yard.
"Hailey is a beautiful soul who requires a very special home.
Her life began in a barn/mill where she lived in a cage having babies.
Fortunately for her, the future is much brighter.
Hailey is VERY shy, but loves people after she eventually becomes comfortable with them.
She thrives around other dogs; thus will need at least one canine companion in the home.
She will NOT do well as an only dog.
Hailey is still, in essence, training to be a dog.
She can be destructive and exhibits some separation anxiety at times.
She is not fully housetrained yet, and may regress in her new home.
While we KNOW she will be worth it, Hailey has a long journey ahead.
She needs an adopter with the utmost of patience who allows her as much time as she needs to bloom,” when she is ready."
