These pups were rescued when their mama was rescued after she had been abandoned in a rural area of Rutherford Co, NC. 'Good Samantha' took her in and allowed her to be free to roam at will which resulted in the pregnancy. After the pups were born, 'Good Samantha' had to leave the state for a good job offer, leaving the mama and her litter with her daughter who had just had a baby of her own(the baby is allergic to dogs), so they contacted Howlin4Spirit for help. Howlin4Spirit took in the pups and had mama('Honey'=dob:~1/6/2018) spayed and brought up to date on her vaccines. We will be seeking a new home for this super-sweet and loving mama when she has fully recovered from her surgery.

July(adopted) and Jesse(available) have the longer legs, while JoJo(adopted) has shortish legs(a combo of the various breed traits) and Jasper( available ), Jake(adopted), Jazzy(adopted) and Jeep(available) have very short legs(PugX).
Adoption fee: $325(includes spay/neuter, micro-chip, 3 puppy boosters, Rabies, Bordatella and 1 Lepto vaccines, current on monthly flea/tick and heart worm prevention, all medical paperwork from day#1 with Howlin4Spirit including vet's surgical notes and health certificate, 1/2 gallon current dry food, beef knee cap bone, Nylabone or Kong chew toy, Martingale collar and matching 6' leash, SUPER PUPPY training booklet, 'RESCUED DOGS ROCK' car magnet and 2 'pet alert' wallet cards).
ALL are very sweet, well-socialized with people('Good Samantha's daughter was their prime care-taker and spent a lot of time handling and caring for them, so they were socialized from very early on with humans) and get along well with each other.
Happy, healthy, and will receive 3 puppy boosters before they will be spay/neutered on April 4th & 5th and will be ready to go to their fur-ever homes on April 13th.
Loving little snuggle-bums will be excellent family pets for families with an older, respectful child 10yrs or older.
Shar-Peis are a guardian breed, so experience is an added plus when applying. H4S stresses that we will only accept applications where there are no young, inexperienced children living in the home.
PERFECT scenario for the right home for these pups is a 1-child, active early retired couple or single person with a fenced-in backyard, who enjoys a snuggle-bum & devoted pal to share life's lazy afternoons in the yard, watching tv at night, and outdoor adventures with.
We estimate these pups will be ~30>40lbs as adults.
Must have fenced-in yard or be committed to walking 3X daily for the proper daily exercise, and committed to bathing 2X month for their ultimate health & grooming needs, to be approved. No exceptions!
These pups are in and will remain in foster care in Rutherfordton, NC until they have recovered from their spay/neuter surgery and their fur-ever home is approved.
Transport is available from western NC along the I-95 corridor to as far as NH/VT(every Saturday) and to Albany/Rochester area(2nd & 4th Friday, each month). Fees are: $125 to as far as Vince Lombardi svc plaza/NJTnpk & JerichoNY, and $140 to all points N and W of Jericho/VinceLombardi.
