My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Matilda was found in the halls of a school in PG County after falling through the ceiling. She was brought all the way to our facility in Saint Mary's County!

Matilda is an extremely active kitten. Due to being without siblings, she has some behavioral problems involving rough play. We have worked hard to correct this behavior and she has come a long way. She still has work to do, but we know that with time she will level out. Due to this, Matilda would be best in a home with children that are not too young so that they do not accidentally encourage her rough play and get injured. She also would be best in a home with another playful cat or a family that can give her plenty of stimulation. Matilda does tremendously well with dogs and will play with them!

Matilda has severe food sensitivities. Due to this, she is on a limited ingredient diet. Her dry food is Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Diet Salmon. Her canned food is Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Diet Tuna & Pumpkin and Simply Nourish Tuna & Potato Stew. With this diet, she is thriving and no longer having issues with diarrhea or vomiting.
