My story

If you don't enjoy a friendly, affectionate and playful K-9 companion, then don't choose me. I'm all those things.

Black as night with a personality as golden as sunlight. What's not to like? I have a charming face and pleasant smile, but like many of us, I could stand to lose a few pounds. Don't worry, I'm working on it. I get lots of exercise at my foster home and they are watching my diet. Who the heck invented the Body Mass Index anyway? Sigh!

I am 77 pounds of cuddle fun. I think I'm a spaniel/lab cross, but I haven't subscribed to 23&Me, so it's anybody's guess.

All I know is that I'm in great health - just had a check up, all my shots and they put me on a regular flea, tick and worming program. Not that I have any of those nasty critters, but you can never be too careful.

I love to play with my doggie friends, and I've developed some pretty fancy footwork that my foster family finds entertaining. I think that's what it means they're laughing. Humans - who knows what they're thinking. Do I even want to know? I also love kids. Please, just don't let them dress me up like My Little Pony Oh, the shame!

I do like my chew toys. No matter what they might tell you at the pet store, I know no toy is indestructible. Just trust me on that one, folks.

Until recently I was in what I hoped would be my forever home. My family loves me, but they decided to split up and that left me looking for a new home. How about your home?
