My story

Zeus is looking for his forever home! He was boarded for almost two years before his owner surrendered him. He loves the staff at the boarding facility, especially since his BIG birthday party! But he needs a family who understands that his experience in a home has been very limited. He needs to be taught to adjust to family life. His boarding family would love to stay in touch so that they can see him grow! We think Zeus would do best with only adults and as an only dog during his transition time. Adoption Option is willing to adjust his adoption fee as long as his adopter has shown a signed contract with a trainer. We want to ensure Zeus's success in his next home so that it is his forever family!

Please do NOT send an email or an adoptapet inquiry. Due to volume and staffing, we are not able to respond to all messages. If you are interested in this animal, please submit an application. That is always the first step. If the animal is still listed, it has not been adopted yet. Thanks!

More about this rescue

Adoption Option Dog Rescue Inc. is a nonprofit, foster-based animal rescue organization striving to decrease the number of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens in shelters. We pull unwanted dogs and cats, including pregnant and nursing mothers and their litters, from owners, pounds, animal shelters and other rescue groups and provide them with all needed medical care in loving, family-centered, foster environments before searching for adoptive families and forever homes. Adoption Option also rehabilitates and trains dogs who were abused and neglected. We seek to involve community members in rescue efforts through volunteer opportunities while educating citizens and adopters about how to best care for their pets.
