Sometimes life is just not fair. This poor guy had his forever home. And then his owner died. He was dropped off at a shelter. Luckily, Champy was pulled by a rescue group who knew he deserved a second chance at a forever home. If they hadn’t rescued him he most likely would have been put down.
Amazingly he hasn’t lost his confidence. He is a good natured, sometimes silly dog. He is between 5-6 years of age and weighs a comfortable 70 pounds. He seems to be a mix of German shepherd and retriever. When you think of that mix you think of a dog that is intelligent, friendly, devoted, and playful. His caregiver finds him to be “a sweet boy.” You would not be surprised to know he gets along well with other dogs. His medium length coat is in shades of tan. He has soft brown eyes accented by eyeliner so that they will be noticed!
He is house, crate, and leash trained. Please note that even trained dogs may have an occasional accident as they adjust to a new home and new routines.
So the question is, are you willing to give him a second chance in a forever home where he can once again feel loved and wanted? If yes, read on!
The fee for adoption is $450. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and transport fees.
