My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful girl is a yellow Labrador mix. Millie is sweet, energetic, and fun loving. She does not lack personality! Typical of a lab pup she has lots of love to give. She will run to greet you at the door as if you have been away on a trip instead of just to the store. She loves to play and run with her dog friends. She’s a medium energy gal, and loves other dogs—so visits to the dog park certainly will help burn off that energy!

Millie currently weighs about 47 pounds and will be considered a large dog when fully grown. She is about a year old. Her medium yellow coat has some white mixed in. It accents her alert brown eyes and cute black nose. She is one good looking girl.

Unfortunately, Millie’s owner did not have time for her, so she was surrendered to a kill shelter. She does know the word, “sit.”  Currently, she is learning how to walk on a leash and is doing fabulous on house training. She is intelligent and wants to please; therefore, she is highly trainable but it will take a person who is committed to providing the right guidance, with patience, energy, and time to help her transition from pup to adult. Are you the family for Millie? Will you give her a forever home? If yes, you will be rewarded with a loyal, energetic, and fun loving dog.

The fee for adoption is $450. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and transport fees.
