My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Without a doubt this pup’s beautiful brown eyes will catch your attention. Like her brothers, Melvin and Monty, they are shiny brown and alert. Macy has a sweet all black face with the same floppy ears as her siblings. Put it altogether and you have an adorable lab mix with a short, shiny black coat with just an accent of white on her chest. You can truly see the black lab in Macy.

Macy and her siblings were rescued by SC Animal Control and taken to a rescue organization. She is now thriving at 5 months thanks to her foster family. She  weighs about 23 pounds and will mostly likely be in the medium size range when full grown.

Living with her foster family she has gotten used to cats, kids, adults, and other dogs. She loves them all! She has typical puppy energy, likes to play, and then take a short nap, and then join the fun again. Overall her energy would be considered at a medium level. Though she has been through harrowing times in her young life, Macy has bounced back with confidence.

Her foster mom describes her as “sweet and playful.” They have been working together on house, crate, and leash training. As with all puppies, Macy is full of curiosity and playfulness. She is ready to grow from an adorable puppy to a wonderful companion with the right guidance and patience. She will need a home with someone who has the time, desire, and energy to train and socialize her. The result will be a devoted and loving lifelong companion. Is Macy the pup for you? If yes, read on!

The fee for adoption is $450. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and transport fees.
