My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Channing and I am one awesome pup. I am loving, gentle, and have a sweet personality. I am a yellow Labrador mix, strongly leaning towards the Labrador side, as you can tell from my pics.

I am still a pup at about 9 months and weigh around 35 pounds. So I still am growing and will be medium size when I am an adult. My short coat is mostly yellow and white. I have those soft brown eyes of a lab and perfect black nose. My ears are so cute around my face. What’s not to love?

Typical of a lab pup I love to chase balls, play with my canine friends, and get all the love I can from my human friends. I love to be near people if I can’t be with my canine friends. I have lived with older kids and other dogs. I love to please and am eager to learn. I already know how to fetch and how to respond to the word, “sit.”

I am leash trained. We are working on my social and house training skills. I am definitely making progress. I really do try to do my best.

I was found as a stray, turned into a shelter, adopted, but then returned a short time later. I have no idea why. I am not a hyper pup and l love life. Even with those sad experiences I have not lost my confidence. I just want to be with a family who will accept and love me.

I am ready to transform from an awesome pup to a wonderful adult. I will just need someone to provide the right guidance. Yes, it will take time, energy, and patience. But I really believe I am worth it. I hope you think so, too.

The fee for adoption is $450. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and transport fees.
