Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, I'm BONI the beautiful ballerina! I'm a little girl who is about a year old and weigh only 11lbs. Like many dogs, I came from a sad situation. I used to live in Mexico where I was found starving to death by a really nice lady. A nice vet and shelter helped me become well but they found out that I spin a lot! It turns out that I was born with a birth defect that causes me to spin and have seizures. I have seen a neurologist and on medication to control the seizures. With my meds and an annual visit to the neurologist, my doctor says that I can expect to have a reasonably normal life span.
So even though I'm special needs, in all other ways I'm just a normal girl. I love dressing up in my pretty outfits which my foster mom is happy to take a million pictures of. I get along great with my foster fur brothers and even boss them around. They're so patient and kind with me and always let me tug on their ears when I play. I love chasing the frisbee, and even though I can't actually catch it I pretend that I can. As you can imagine, I do have issues with house training, but I will go do my business when I'm taken outside. You'll also have to help me with stairs, although I've now mastered getting up the few steps in my foster family's backyard.
With my spins, walks aren't really that possible for me, so I'm looking for a house with a fenced in yard for me run around in. I'd also like another dog to play and cuddle with and spin after. My foster mom says I'm one of the sweetest dogs they've ever had and that I just love everyone I meet. When I lay my head down on her lap and gaze up at her, there are no words to describe the joy that I feel. knowing that I'm loved. My snuggles and kisses are out of this world and trust me, you'll never regret adopting me!
