Spike is currently 3 years old, born in 11/2015. He is a small lab mix, weighing only 40lbs. He's quite the cuddler, and is not very hyper. He knows "sit", "lay down", and "paw", will usually "come" if you call for him, but doesn't truly know that command, nor "stay". He may run out the door if you leave it open too wide, but he hasn't left the yard and comes back shortly, but I can't guarantee it will be the same for you. He has separation anxiety and will chew on anything in sight if left alone for more than an hour. He is a bit nervous around strangers that enter his home, but is usually fine when he meets them outside. He's a very loving dog, and does well with kids(after adjusting to his new home fully). He is perfectly content with laying in your lap all day long, but does love chew toys when he's bored. He would do best with another dog companion(preferably Charlie), but if you already have other dogs, i would let him go on his own if they get along okay.
