My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Kemba is a 4 year old cat who is loyal and extremely affectionate. She is a true lap cat and seeks out lots of human companionship. She was adopted at 8 months old from the local pet shelter and was the perfect cat until the baby arrived. The first baby is now almost three and a new baby has joined the family, which has proven too much for Kemba. This loving cat needs a home where people can shower her with affection, something that two tired parents of small children cannot do.

In her attempt to adjust to children she began peeing outside the litter box. We have been working on correcting this behavior, but have not been successful.

A few other things to know about Kemba:
- When we adopted her from the shelter she had previously acquired FVR (basically a cat cold), but it went untreated and clouded her eyes. She is not blind and remains agile and active, but her eyes look dark and cloudy.

- She currently lives with another cat and gets along very well with her.
