My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Benny is a happy boy who just turned 3 years old. His racing name was "Breezin Ang"; however, he was never fast enough to qualify for the track. (He competed in training races, but did not officially race). Benny is a handsome dark brindle with a lot of orange high-lights in his hair. Everyone who sees him remarks about his beautiful color. Even though Benny is still a young dog, he is very easy-going and laid back. He loves people and is very social. He is well behaved with children and adults alike. Benny is a good traveler and enjoys going for car rides. He walks easily by your side while on a leash, gets along well with other dogs, both large and small, and is currently living in a foster home with cats. We tried Benny in a home as an only dog and he had separation anxiety when his humans left him alone. He does fine in his foster home with other greyhounds and cats. For this reason, we would like Benny to go to a home with at least one other dog. Benny is tall and has a classic greyhound body line. He is about 75 lbs. and is in excellent condition. Benny does well in just about any situation and is already home acclimated. He would make an excellent pet for just about any family, and would do fine as a therapy dog to take to nursing homes and hospitals. Benny's $225 adoption fee includes his neuter, teeth cleaning, all vaccines, 3-yr rabies, microchip, leash and collar, grooming mit, stuffie toy, toothbrush, tooth gel, and an adoption guide.
