Here's what the humans have to say about me:
YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO SET UP A TIME TO MEET OUR PETS.
Lady is a great little girl who looks a lot like a Puggle with long legs. She has a funny Pug like face with a cute underbite and the wrinkly, cushy upper body of a Pug. Her hind quarters are trim and her legs are long, definitely not Pug like, but she has a lovely, very Pug like personality.
Lady is 7 years old and 14 pounds. She was surrendered to a county shelter by her owner.
She is very friendly and peacefully confident, a wonderfully sociable girl who seems to love everyone, including well mannered children.
She is great with all handling and definitely loves being a beloved family member. She is affectionate and has expressive eyes with great eye contact.
Lady is snuggly and loves being cuddled. Baby talk and being hugged and smooched are A Okay with her!
She loves leash walks and has plenty of energy to go for a nice hike with you (unlike a purebred Pug!).
She keeps her room clean and pees and poos nicely once you take her outside for a walk and is housetrained already.
Lady seems to get along well with other dogs and does not even mind sharing a crate with another dog (a dog that was new to her) here at the shelter. She will roll around on your lap with another sweet dog and not mind sharing your affection, she is that good natured. She can be given a treat right next to another dog and is not worried or anxious about the proximity.
Lady loves treats and will sit on command if not too distracted.
She really is a wonderfully well balanced, happy, friendly, sociable, all round great little dog who should fit in nicely in most any home. She has a bright intelligence and medium, pleasing energy and is adaptable. She may have a funny little face, but she certainly has a beautiful personality!
Update - our precious girl had several seizures after her spay and it may have been a reaction to the anesthesia. The vet started her on meds just to make sure and, after she recovered from her surgery, she popped back to her normal, wonderful self! She will continue on the medication for right now. Do not let this stop you from adopting this great little dog!
