My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tommy is not your typical chihuahua! His prior owner lost her home, dropped Tommy off at the shelter, and moved to Arizona. Tommy is up to date on all vaccines and is in great health but slightly overweight and we’re working on that. He also just had his teeth cleaned. Here are some comments from the shelter:

Tommy is one cool cat that is very charming and polite.  He doesn't bark or act unruly, rather he politely sits in his habitat room and people watches until someone opens the door for him. Tommy is estimated to be around 7 years old and is a little overweight at about 13 lbs.  He walks really well on leash, and was fine with me holding him as we walked around the shelter, but he preferred to be on his feet walking next to me than to be carried.  Tommy is a sweet guy that paid no attention to the barking dogs or the habitat room cats we walked past.   He is a fun little guy who is quiet, healthy and low maintenance, and he will do great in a home where he can be a part of the family.
