Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Roxy!!
From her foster:
Roxy is an approximately 4 year old Border Collie. She is the sweetest dog and loves attention. She loves her belly rubbed and loves fetching a ball more than anything. She also loves to play in water, especially chasing a hose. She is loves children, cats and other dogs. She uses a doggy door and has never had an “accident.” She does not chew anything except the rawhides I give her. She does not get on the furniture, and she sleeps wherever the mood strikes her on the floor or her bed. She is currently free-fed.
Roxy currently has 2 dog brothers and a cat brother who are all seniors and frail. She wants to play, and they don’t like her energy. She’s actually very calm for a Border Collie and knows how to sit, stay, shake and lay down. We use a squirt bottle when the doorbell rings, as she is a great protector and barks. We have not been good about making her mind her manners very well, so sometimes she jumps up to greet a person, but the squirt bottle gets immediate results. Roxy’s previous family went through a divorce and she’s been in temporary care for three years. She deserves a home where she gets the attention and love that she deserves, and has people who can play with her and spend time loving on her individually.
Her faults: Her previous owners had kids and they would ride their bike and hold her leash, but she has not been walked much on a leash, so she does need training to walk successfully on a leash without pulling.
Rocy’s Adoption includes her spay, vaccines, deworming, microchip, and 30 days of FREE pet insurance. If interested in meeting Roxy please request an adoption application.
