Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You MUST visit www.save-a-mutt.org/herodogs to fill out an application and get pre-approved before meeting any Save-A-Mutt puppies. We are a foster based rescue, there is no facility to visit. Thank You!

Meet Rylee. She is a 3 year old Labrador / AmStaff mix. She was on Craig's List in California because she was pregnant, SAM transported her to WA and she was a great mommy. All her puppies have been adopted, now it's Rylee's turn!!!
Rylee has been in her foster home for about 3 months now. She lives with 4 dogs, 2 cats, 50+ chickens and recently, 7 piglets. She has been around older kids, lots of people. Rylee was raised on a ranch, so she's alert to new people and things. She is a little food reactive to the other dogs, but not to people - it seems she just has a bubble she likes to protect, with a snarl (raised lip). While in foster, this behavior improved greatly. She has learned that both beds and couches are great for snuggle time!
SAM had a trainer and behaviorist come 'interview' Rylee. RyRy is playful with the 4 foster dogs off leash, and even visiting dogs. We thought she might be leash reactive, but a visit to another trainer for 'testing' and Rylee was very good. She got some lessons on walking on leash and is a very fast learner. She redirects easily - is food motivated, making her easy to train. RyRy is a smart girl.
Rylee would LOVE another MALE dog as a playmate, she is active and loves to play. We think she needs a dog savvy owner who will work with her from the beginning. Save-A-Mutt will require a training contract and deposit, you pick a trainer (we will help) and after training we will then refund the deposit.
She goes home with a goody bag including collar/leash, toys, chews, Kong, and more. You will receive all medical records, microchip transfer form and other paperwork at the time of adoption.
Adoption fee is $150 + $100 refundable training deposit.
Save-A-Mutt is a registered 501c3.
Please note, we have approximately a 300 mile adoption radius - Portland OR area and Vancouver BC is the farthest north. We don’t ship dogs, once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA.
