My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the most handsome young Catahoula boy! Moss was born on the 4th of July, 18 months ago and lives up to his firecracker name. This well-trained and active companion is currently living with Jillian Pellegrino, owner of Training To The Rescue in the Atlanta area. Moss has had several months of board and train and is thoroughly house trained and crate trained. He knows all his basic commands, heel, kennel and numerous other commands. Moss is good on a leash and would make a great hiking or outdoor partner. He rides well in the car and is quiet and calm in the house. Moss is extremely affectionate and enjoys exercise. Moss has been a good running and biking partner in his former life. He gets along well with other dogs but his energy can be a bit overwhelming to others so he needs you to help set his play limits. Moss weighs 58lbs and is neutered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. His new adopters will need to continue to work with him on his training and boundaries as he is young and still learning patience. Anyone who knows and loves his Catahoula breed, gets that he needs leadership and is super smart. Moss would love a work from home person and a fenced yard is important for this energetic hound boy. He still needs to be reminded to be chill and not jump up when he first meets people, so a home with very small children would probably not be the best choice for him. Moss would do best with space with active adopter and dog experienced adopters. He is a hound with a bit of a prey drive, so a no kitty home is best for him. Isn’t Moss just the cutest boy ever?! He is so handsome and can’t wait to meet you. Frost is currently in Duluth, GA and hoping you’ll complete an application soon. For more info, contact Jillian at trainingtotherescue@gmail.com or to complete an application go to www.raincityrescue.com/adopt. Moss’s adoption fee is $200 and your fee includes training sessions with Jillian to get you both on the right track. This amazing young boy, Moss, needs you to give him the truly forever home he deserves!
