PLEASE READ FULLY!!!!! Thank you for looking into our FUND THE FUR dogs. This boy is named Shemar ( for now ). He was owner surrendered once the previous owners were tired of breeding him and the female that lived there as well. He is somewhere around the age of 2-5. He will be available for adoption June 22nd to someone willing to take on the responsibilities and treatment of HEARTWORM DISEASE. This is a common disease down here in the south where he is currently located. He is very sweet and has lived most of his life in the back yard used for breeding purposes. You are welcome to contact us via the phone number listed to discuss more on Shemar. PLEASE look up heartwormsociety.org as well to do some research on the disease. Please do not let this discourage you from adding such a wonderful dog into your home. All he wants is someone to love him for the rest of his life. He is considered a SILVER lab. HE IS HEARTWORM POSITIVE and we do not do the treatment down here due to the costs as we have a lot of dogs in the shelter/non profit that must be spayed and neutered etc.
