My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Dixie and as you can tell from my pictures I am rather cute. I am a spayed female brittany about 4-5 years old and I love to play and be loved. I love my morning walks on my leash with my foster Dad and my brittany foster sisters. I check out every squirrel and rabbit in my new neighborhood. I play all day in my fenced in yard. Once I am told "NO" I do listen and am really sorry for my bad behavior and try never to do it again. I come when I am called and love my crate which I sleep in at night. I love everybody and I always greet everyone with a friendly handshake and a lick. All my new friends think I am just the cutest and sweetest dog and would make a loving family a really great pet and a great companion for children. Dixie needs to be on a medication called Proin. Something has caused her bladder to leak a bit. Once we identified the problem and put her on the med, she has been great. Proin is a low cost medication that a lot of dogs take for their entire lives with no problem at all. History:
Dixie was rescued from a shelter in Bath County. The shelter did have some medical history on Dixie and she had already been spayed. She appears to have been someone's pet at some time.
