Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Riley is a very happy 22-month old dog that is generally very calm, but still playful. He loves attention and wants to be with his people as much as possible. Riley is crate trained and runs right in at bedtime. He lived with a family for his first year that kept him in a backyard cage, so he is still learning house manners- he loves to get into the garbage or steal socks. Because of his living situation as a puppy, he also gets nervous around strangers that enter his territory and has bitten people who entered his cage and tried to pet his head (these required a bandaid or stitches.) He has a pretty submissive personality and is good with most dogs and kids (as long as they respect his space.) He previously lived with older kids and had no issues. Due to some of these behavioral issues, he would be happiest with an experienced owner that can be very careful and take it slowly when meeting strangers in the home.
