This beautiful fur baby's name is Willow and is she approximately 2 years old. She is a very sweet and friendly girl who loves attention. She is currently vaccinated, micro-chipped and heart worm negative. The clinic that originally vaccinated her couldn't tell if she was spayed and because we didn't want to put her through unnecessary spay surgery we decided to wait to see if she went into heat. She hasn't exhibited any signs of going into heat in the year we have had her so we believe she is spayed. If after she is adopted, she should go into heat, we will pay for her spay surgery at a vet of our choosing. Willow would be a great family dog. She has a lot of energy and because she is still the "perfect dog" in training, needs some work in some basic training. She knows the sit command but in her excitement to get attention from humans she might jump up and put her paws on them which could be overpowering for small children, therefore, we believe she would be a better fit for families with larger children. She is friendly towards other dogs and we believe she will do great with any dog that is playful in nature with an even tempered personality but would be fine in an only dog family as long as she received a lot of attention from her family and daily exercise. She currently is fostered on property that has a lot of room for exploring. Willow does lose her winter coat starting in the spring so her fur does need to be raked to remove the loosened fur. She seems to enjoy it (and the attention she gets during the process). If you feel this wonderful girl would fit into your lifestyle please email us at arnt_dfw@yahoo.com for a pre-adoption questionnaire which is part of the adoption process. Once reviewed, if it appears your home would be the right fit for her we can schedule a meet and greet. Her adoption fee is $200. We also conduct home visits as part of the adoption process, therefore she is not available out of state.
