My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wilbur was found abandoned along with his 4 siblings... a litter of scared and hungry little pups. We were notified when they were taken to a local kill shelter and placed on the danger list. Of course we took them all and they are now safe and sound under the care of Save a Dog a Day rescue.

Wilbur is just 13 weeks old and has been vetted, vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and bathed. Now he just needs to be loved and to begin his new life.

He looks like a black lab mix but as with most rescue pups we can't be certain as neither of her parents are known.

Wilbur has been with me for just a few days and he has made remarkable strides in his trust of people. He is friendly and loving but a bit wary and shy upon first meeting.

The 5 pups together are quite a handful and we are looking for a foster (adopter would be GREAT) so each pup can have some much needed and deserved alone time with their human.

As a foster you simply get to love Wibur until he 'finds his family'. I hope you can help.

Application and home visit are required for placement of any of our pets. Wilbur's adoption fee is $400.
