Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ALEX and EMMA are a wonderful pair of 6-year-old bonded BIRMAN littermates; they are altered and front-paw declawed. Alex weighs nine pounds and Emma is a petite seven pounds. They each wear classic silky Birman coats complete with sparkling white gloves on each paw. Alex is a majestic SEAL POINT with coat colors of deep mocha. His creamy white ruff is so pronounced that it looks like a ruffled Elizabethan collar from the sixteenth century. And he has the cutest pink jelly bean toes ever. Emma is a classic BLUE POINT with a coat of contrasting pale greys and creamy whites and a sweet slate nose. They each have round royal blue eyes giving them the sweet open-faced expression that makes Birmans so beloved. Alex has no ear flaps. We’re not sure why – it’s quite likely he was just born that way. No worries. It doesn’t seem to bother him and they don’t need special care. This is a gorgeous pair of cats, no doubt.
We can’t say this with enough emphasis: They are simply among the nicest cats we’ve fostered! Sweet and loving doesn’t even begin to describe these two. They seek attention and simply cannot get enough petting. Alex, the more outgoing of the duo, runs to the door of the foster room as soon as anyone enters – then he stops, drops and rolls for belly rubs. They are currently rooming with other fosters and turns out, as much as they love people, they love other cats too. Head butts, tail wraps and head kisses for everyone! Watch Alex and Emma’s video to see how they swerve to hug each other when they pass. These two enjoy being brushed, but they aren’t prone to matting because they don’t have a dense undercoat. Emma had a recent dental and has only one tooth left! But she eats just fine and feels much better now with her mouth healed. Emma also had a benign cyst removed from her neck that his healing nicely. These gentle lambs were surrendered by someone who could no longer care for them. They would fit into most households. They are a bit on the shy side, but warm up quickly and would do well with other fur buds but would be fine as an only pair. They would enjoy older, respectful kids who would play with them. Super sweet, gentle, gorgeous, and easy-care coats. These lambs live up to their breed reputation of being sociable, gentle, quiet, loving. What more could you ask for? Apply for them today. ADOPTION FEE for the pair $350. FOSTERED IN PEORIA, IL. For more information about this cat and others, please visit our website at www.purebredcatrescue.org.
