My story

Topaz......awwwwww.....is all we can say. This three year old baby was found in a known dumping ground for dogs in Houston. Two wonderful young people scooped her up, got her to the vet, and got rid of her fleas. They took her home, cleaned her up, and contacted Russell Rescue. She is light heartworm positive and her vet recommended treating her with Advantage Multi. Topaz is the sweetest girl ever...snuggly, easy going, friendly, likes cats, likes other dogs, crate trained and walks well on a leash. And, she weighs only 11 pounds. Perfect lap size!! Topaz is a jewel in every sense of the word. If you are interested in giving Topaz her forever home, you will need to have a securely fenced yard, be comfortable with a home visit, have a good vet reference, and be able to drive to Seguin to get her. This precious girl requires a home with no kids....she's a little spooked over kids. Her adoption fee is 200 dollars. Please fill out the online application on www.russellrescue.com.
