My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet kitten Percy! He was surrendered to us when his owner was losing housing. The photos were taken at about age 7 weeks as of the end of May. His foster home had initially called him "Chase" but decided he was too much of a chill little dude for that name. His foster home has children and small dogs. There are no other cats in the foster homes, but we was around adult cats in his prior home.

We are posting the kitten in advance of them being ready for adoption so as to find and pre-approve potential adopters. Our kittens are not be available for adoption until they reach about 2.5-3 pounds which happens at about 10-12 weeks. At this time, the kittens will undergo a spay and neuter operation. It can be done younger; however, we have found waiting a few extra weeks gives a better lifetime of health to the cat so the kitten has more time to develop physically. The extra weight is helpful too in coping with potential anesthesia side effects after surgery. Please be patient with us :)

This is a kitten being fostered in a private home by our cat rescue. We are a rescue and not a shelter so we do not have a facility. The kitten will not be available to meet until an adoption event at PetSmart in Temecula. We are unable to bring any unsterilized animals to the adoption event per PetSmart policies but we will have updates on our cats posted on our blog, Facebook, and our newsletter.

At the adoption event, there will be an interview to discuss whether you understand and are willing to take on the responsibilities involved with owning a cat. The first qualified person interested in an animal will be able to adopt the feline(s). If people have indicated interest in advance, we will go through that list of names first before adopting to anyone who is present at the event.

If you are interested in adopting, please contact Baby Bobby's Meow House Rescue at info@babybobbysmeowhouserescue.org and learn more at http://babybobbysmeowhouserescue.org/adoption.html.
