***Zeus is seeking a new foster home due to his foster needing to travel, please contact us if you can help us out!***
Zeus is a sweet and cuddly 9-12 month old male Springer/Lab/Hound type mixture. He currently weighs around 50 pounds and is still growing.
Zeus loves other dogs and enjoys trips to the dog park and playing with his foster siblings in the fenced back yard. He sometimes does get to playing rough and needs reminders to settle down and play nice. Zeus has seen cats, but not lived with any, so we’re not sure how he would do with cats.
Zeus loves people – he loves nothing more than to cuddle in your lap and be close. He does great with kids but is a bit clumsy as he’s all puppy and sometimes is a bit much for younger kids, but with more obedience training, he would be amazing!
Zeus is working on kennel and house training. He’s not a fan of the kennel and his foster home has been working on it and he’s improved. He needs clear boundaries and a set schedule to continue helping him with his house training as he’s very much a big pup and trying hard to get everything down.
Zeus has a medium energy level – he loves to play with toys and chew on bones. He enjoys going for walks and running off energy at the dog park. He is pretty good about settling down when inside and everyone is relaxing.
Zeus’ adoption donation fee is $250.00 – he is vet checked, vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested negative and current on all flea/tick/heartworm preventatives.
