My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES MOLLIE INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

PLEASE NOTE: If the dog you are interested in is online, he/she is still available and it is not necessary to email to inquire.

Merry Christmas, Y'all! I am starting to like these season changes! I thought summer was awesome with the pool, trampoline, and camping! However, then came Trick or Treat. I was dressed up and ready to go! I learned all about trick or treating. Honestly, though, I think I like the treats part the best. I was sad when it was over! Now I am hearing about Christmas and some guy shimmying down the chimney just to fill up stockings with more treats! Personally, I'd use the front door, but whatever makes the guy happy! Just so long as my stocking is full of treats! Almost all my wishes would have come true then. The only thing left would be a family of my very own. Don't get me wrong, these foster people are great! I am just ready for my own forever people. You see, the longer I am with my fosters, the harder it will be to leave them.

Mollie is a female American Staffordshire German Shepherd mix puppy who is 9 months old. Her sister's Marlee's forever family had DNA testing done to confirm the breed. Mollie is in a foster home where she's learning how good life can be for a puppy. She gets along well with the other dogs and loves to play with her toys. Mollie is crate training and house trained. She is very playful and loves jumping on the trampoline, and swimming in the puppy pool. Recently, she and her five dog siblings went on a road trip in this thing called an RV. It's like a moving house without the trampoline and pool (shucks!). She did great on the trip. Mollie also has foster two-leg siblings and does great with them too. She's having the time of her life, but she'd like to find a family to call her own. Mollie is a fun-loving gal, although a bit more laid back than her sister, who is looking for her own fun-loving family and or person.

Mollie is as cute as she can be but she is still a puppy. Puppies require a lot of time and attention from their new family. They will whine, chew on inappropriate things, have accidents and get into things while they are learning to be grown-up dogs. Puppy obedience training classes help with these behaviors and also allow the puppy to form a close bond with their new owner and become a wonderful family member.

If you are interested in adopting Mollie, please apply by CLICKING ON THE ADOPTION APPLICATION LINK AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE.

PLEASE READ. Regarding the application processing fee: IDGSR requires that all applicants submit a $20 non-refundable application processing fee. Please note that submitting an application and fee does not guarantee that you will be approved or guarantee the adoption of any specific dog, since that dog may have other applications being considered.
