Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, everyone. Scout here. I recently arrived with my scruffy “brother,” Baxter. We’re waiting on our “glamour shots,” but here are some pics of us for now … and here’s my story …
I was picked up as a stray six years ago, just running around in the country. My wonderful family adopted me and they were just that — wonderful. I loved sitting with the kids in the morning and “helping” them put their shoes on to get ready for school. I definitely loved cuddling with all the humans an the house and would even pull the blanket over my head on my own. Unfortunately, we moved to a place where Copperheads are rampant. Even though I’m a chill guy, I still love being outdoors and basking in the sun … and will definitely check something out, if I hear it. Our family thought we would both be safer somewhere else, so I’m here at JTR-U now, waiting to get back on a couch, bed or chair as soon as possible.
I’m very much the loverboy. I’m easygoing and I love attention — and I will give you plenty of attention back! I’m very smart and empathetic. Had a bad day? I can help you get over it quickly! I don’t even mind if you want to dress me up, bathe me, or use the blow dryer on me. (Hey, these good looks don’t just happen!) I love car rides and sticking my nose out of the window. Whee!
Other details? I’m about 8 years old and approximately 20 lbs. I love my brother, Baxter, and it would be cool if we were adopted together, but we’re not bonded. He’s a little more “energetic” than me. He-he. I’m fine with other dogs and I already mentioned I love all humans, big and small, male and female. I like to check things out, though, so let’s not involve a cat.
