Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Yo! Peeps! I’m Clara and I’m gonna rock your world! I was at the kill shelter. Dunno why. Perhaps I didn’t get along with another dog or I was just “too much” for someone? Really, I’m not … I’m just a l’il female Jack, looking for some fun.
Unfortunately, I had these stupid things called heartworms, so I had to get those suckers killed off. I just finished my treatments and now I’m ready to roll! I will need to go back for tests in a few months, but doc is pretty “confi-dant” that I’ll be fine.
I’m only about 12 lbs., but am a 100-lb. dominant female in my head and not a fan of other dogs. What can I say, I like to hike my leg up on fire hydrants. I do love people, though … a lot! I’m not really “high-strung” like a lot of Terriers. I love to sit on laps, as much as I love to play and be active. I’ll chase a ball, but have no desire to “get it” and bring it back to you. Squirrels? That may be another story …

You will need to copy and paste the link but it takes you directly to the information.
Please note: We are a small volunteer run rescue. We will respond to your requests for information as soon as we can but it would REALLY help if you go to our webpage http://www.jackrusselladoptions.org/adopt-a-dog/
and read our adoption policies and procedures before contacting us. That speeds up the process but forgive us if we are a bit slow sometimes; the dogs come first.
Also, we do check veterinary references, so please let them know we will be calling. Thanks!
