Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Baxter
Male
Bassett hound mix
4 years old
House trained
Crate trained
Walks well on a leash
Knows his basic commands
Loves other dogs
Fine with cats
Fine with respectful children
Baxter came into the rescue having lived with one family for his whole life. They had a child who developed asthma and, try as hard as they could to keep Baxter, they could not because of their child's health. He has recently moved to a new foster home and is doing GREAT there! Baxter needs a quiet home. He gets nervous with an active family and a lot of people going in and out of the house. He would do well with another dog or two in the home, and with respectful children. He would love a fenced yard but it's not a requirement. Baxter would like a family who lives a quiet lifestyle, but will take him with them to experience new people, places, and things.
