My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dante's owner passed away June 4th. The apartment must be cleaned out and surrendered to management in 2 weeks. He's somewhat stressed and frightened now because FDNY had to break in to get to the owner. He's just hiding in corners but is eating, drinking and using the litter box when left alone. Dante needs a lot of love and patience until he can adjust to not seeing his "mommy" anymore. Dante IS NOT an aggressive cat. He's frightened and confused right now. He can be coaxed a little with sliced turkey. But prefers hiding right now. Can someone please help Dante. It's not his fault he was suddenly left alone. It was just him and his "mommy".
