Martha is very friendly with people and great with large farm animals. Like most senior dogs, she doesn't like young active dogs and prefers to sleep in the sun on the porch. While in foster care, Martha has learned to share her food bowl with other dogs and doesn't mind people giving and taking food from her. Martha walks well on a leash and is working on house training in foster care. Before her nails were cut, Martha good easily scale a chain link fence, but now with a nail trim, Martha will stay in a kennel without a peep, content to sleep until her foster mom gets home. She gets along well with cats. Martha is ready to a find a warm comfortable home to live out her senior years.
